Rita Njeri, Product Manager for East & West Africa at MasterCard, highlighted their ambitious goal to enhance guest experiences by reducing friction in digital transactions. “By 2025, we aim to streamline processes and support over 500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping them thrive in the evolving digital landscape,” she noted.
Emman J. Atwa, Lead M-PESA Product Manager at Safaricom PLC, highlighted the transformative impact of M-PESA, stating that over 300,000 agents and 613,000 merchants are leveraging the platform to drive economic growth across Africa. He emphasized their commitment to placing users at the forefront of innovation, He further emphasized that without Digitalization there is no future.
Bilha Mucuha, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Tamarind Group, emphasized that staying ahead of the curve requires maintaining a strong online presence while remaining authentic in your approach. “ Authenticity and a digital presence are key to delivering an exceptional customer experience and enhancing guest satisfaction, You cant build a future with Digitalization with a team that is disconnected.” she stated.
